Living in the Shadow was web released New Years Eve 2005/2006. It’s my fourth full-length and my fifth release in five years. Unlike any of my previous albums, the majority of instrumentals on this project were supplied by friends, which allowed me to focus more of my energy on lyrics, delivery, and recording. I won’t bore ya’ll with the details of that process, but the result is an album which sounds cleaner and tighter then any of my previous work. The beats range from funk to downtempo and trip hop, and reflects the international diversity of the production team. With every release I try to push myself a bit further as an artist and as a storyteller, and I’d like to think I’ve been successful in that effort. These songs are pieces of my life, my dreams, my hopes, and my fears; and an effort to synthesize all of those things into something greater then the sum of it’s parts. I hope that comes through.Dub Sea Appears courtesy of Working Classic Records, (London, U.K.). Dj Phoney appears courtesy of Phoney Tapes, (Cologne Germany). Kdubbs appears courtesy of Urban Underground, (San Jose, California). Emcee Lynx appears courtesy of his own damn self.

The UnAmerican LP was independently released Mayday (May 1), 2004. It’s my third full-length and my fourth release. This album has been over two years in the making, been postponed 3 times due to lack of funding, and has consumed more hours of work then I could possibly count. I’ve put my heart and my soul into this music, and I hope ya’ll can hear that when you listen to it. 8 instrumentals were contributed by some of the most talented producers i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and two other artists contributed vocals. My man ‘YOU WON’, contributed the graff art for the cover, and the cover photo is from indymedia.org of a protest last summer in Greece. Mixdowns were done by Aaron at 510studios, and Mastering for all tracks was done by the very talented Bill The Pharmacizt. I did everything else myself - from the cover design to the composition, recording, and production. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed creating. Solidarity, Emcee Lynx

The Black Dog EP was independently released in July of 2003. Black Dog was originally intended as a preview for The UnAmerican LP, but ended up becoming a stand-alone project. This release marked a huge leap forward for me in terms of instrumental work, presentation, flow, and delivery. Mastering on all versions sold after April 2004 by Bill The Pharmacizt.
